Anti Wrinkle Cream Microdermabrasion remains the number one proven method to enhance the appearance of your face and neck; at home, without surgery and now at a previously unheard of low cost and very modest investment of your time. (one to two minutes per day) Home microdermabrasion extensively reduces the appearance of facial and neck wrinkles. Such wrinkles provide the most dramatic visual evidence of our age. From this rationale, we maintain that anti wrinkle cream equals anti aging cream. Who (by age thirty-five or forty) has not looked into the mirror and used their hands to pull down a little on the skin of the lower neck? The results are immediate, if momentary. Wrinkles in the neck are less noticeable. You have almost certainly noticed that the same is true for your facial skin. However, even as the skin is being stretched a bit, there often remains a darkened line, a remnant of where the wrinkle was. The way to substantially rid yourself of the appearance of both wrinkles and their darkened trace lines is through the daily use of microdermabrasion. Not only do daily microdermabrasion treatments drastically reduce the appearance of facial and neck wrinkles, they also substantially rid you of the darkened or hyper pigmented lines associated with wrinkles. These darkened remnant lines are especially common in people with dark skin. (see Black Skin care - Special Considerations) Home Microdermabrasion treatments are the remedy of choice, not only for facial and neck wrinkles, but also for the residual hyper pigmented wrinkle lines. Regular daily microdermabrasion treatments increase skin exfoliation which, over time, reduces then virtually eliminates surface discoloration caused by wrinkles. Most treatable hyper pigmentation resides in the surface skin cells which have a life-cycle of approximately one four to five weeks. At first, microdermabrasion treatments cause hyper pigmented skin cells to be replaced with practically identical hyper pigmented cells. However, there is good news, because as treatment continues and as one month turns into two, the lower layer of skin, where your surface cells are produced, receives a physiologic message which causes it to start sending normally pigmented skin cells to the surface more rapidly, in order to replace the cells which are being swiftly exfoliated (by the microdermabrasion treatments). Then, what appeared as hyper pigmented wrinkle lines becomes more and more normal i.e. what your skin looked like prior to the wrinkles which caused the discoloration. Current research suggests that both wrinkles and their associated hyper pigmented lines fade away at about the same rate and time with faithful daily use of home microdermabrasion. Anti-Aging Skin Care TreatmentElastin is the magic anti aging ingredient which allows skin to stretch and recoil back. Elastin is also one of the ingredients which your body produces less of as we age. Currently there is no method for getting elastin under the skin topically, that is at home without injections. The elastin molecule is simply too large to penetrate the skin's natural barrier function. There are microscopic sized holes in the skin, however, they are far too tiny to allow an elastin molecule through. Some cosmetic manufacturers sell elastin formulas, however, that elastin is unlikely to penetrate the skin. Still other cosmetic manufacturers have added nano particles to their elastin formulas, however, whereas nano particles may be able to penetrate the skin, they cannot drag with them a particle one hundred times larger than the hole they must pass through. There are two methods to get a product under your skin; either by using something that rips large enough holes in the fatty matrix to allow substances to penetrate (or be injected). The other method involves using substances with a small enough molecular weight to fit through the existing holes, which means only molecules with a molecular weight of less than 700 Daltons. A Dalton is one-twelfth the weight of one 12C (carbon-12 atom). A typical elastin molecule is around 70,000 Daltons. It now looks like the answer to the elastin problem lies within the body's own mechanisms for restoring elastin production.
